Sunekos Cell
Sunekos Cell is a unique product that has been specifically designed to target the appearance of cellulite. Sunekos has a wide range of injectable skin treatments that improve the skin’s quality over the body as well as the face, by cleverly adapting its formulas to target different concerns.
Cellulite often appears on the thighs, hips and buttocks, and gives the skin a rippled appearance. Although cellulite is often associated with excess fat, it can be experienced by anyone, as it’s the result of connective tissue pulling the skin down whilst fatty tissue (which can occur in healthy amounts) pushes up.
Sunekos Cell differs from other Sunekos products in that it combines hyaluronic acid and amino acids with an alkaline solution. This unique combination increases collagen and elastin levels and improves microcirculation while neutralising acidosis, which is a key cause of cellulite formation. It also reduces fibrosis, which is a thickening of the connective tissue and leads to the appearance of cellulite.
Sunekos Cell can effectively treat cellulite at stages 1 and 2 using the ATL-n technique, which uses a fine needle. For cellulite at stages 3 and 4, a cannula with an ATL-c technique may be a more suitable method of injection. The product starts to work in around 7 – 10 days, with visible results emerging at around 4 – 8 weeks after treatment. 3 – 4 sessions (depending on severity) are needed to obtain the best results, which can be maintained through a repeat procedure every 12 months.
Exercise, regular movement, a balanced diet, and plenty of water can contribute to the quality and condition of the skin, as well as maintaining circulation and keeping fatty deposits to a minimum. Am I suitable for this treatment?
This treatment may be suitable for you if you are concerned by the appearance of cellulite. Dr Rita Nandi will assess which stage your cellulite is at before recommending the most effective technique.
Is this treatment safe?
Other than being mindful of aftercare advice, for example, keeping treated areas clean for the rest of the day, it is otherwise a very safe treatment with very low risks.
Is this treatment painful?
Applying a needle or cannula may cause some tenderness, which is why The Bloom Clinic will use a numbing cream on the skin before treatment takes place.
Are there any side effects or risks?
On the day of treatment, the areas may become red, swollen and a little bruised. This should quickly resolve over the next day or so, bruising may persist for slightly longer.
What downtime should I expect?
Although the treatment area may feel slightly sensitive, this should not stop you from carrying on with your day.

Dr Rita Nandi is very professional and explains each step of the procedure, she takes time to reassure you if it is a first time having a filler treatment, and answers any questions you may have.
